south Nilandhe Atoll. Vilu reef is endowed with lush green vegetation
with tall coconut palms & surrounded by white sandy beaches.
Lagoon is ideally placed, ideal for water sports and snorkelling.

All accommodation at Vilu Reef is in Deluxe Beach Bungalows. Facing
the beach these are set just inside the green leafy beach vegetation
surrounding the island. There are just 68 bungalows in all, giving
you the privacy you need wherever you are on the island. The round
thatched roof of the bungalow slants down like a parasol to blend
in harmoniously with the surrounding coconut palms and vegetation.
Each individual bungalow comprises of a bedroom and en suite bathroom.
As you enter through the front door, you will be met with a rustic
charm that will make you wish to stay here forever. Step inside
the circular bedroom with its shell-shaped wooden ceiling and glass
panelled windows placed to give you a picture-postcard view of the
beach and sea. Curtains with Nautilus prints adorn the windows.
The cool tiled floor adds to the soothing cool air of the air-conditioning.
You may if you wish, open up the windows and doors and let the cool
sea breeze inside. The centerpiece of the room is a comfortable
king-sized bed, the headrest of which forms a rack at the back with
space to store some of your belongings. A mini fridge is conveniently
located in the rack. On top of the rack is a telephone with which
you can call anywhere in the world, lying in your bed.
Sleep in a shell home and wake up to the sound of waves, gently
slapping the white sandy shore, just steps from your luxurious beach
villa. Take a refreshing morning swim in the crystal clear lagoon
of Vilu Reef, or enjoy a relaxing hot dip in your private open air
bathtub. Your cooled and spacious villa, tastefully furnished and
designed to blend with the shades of nature, provides all the moden
amenities that make you feel at home away from home.

RECREATIONAL
FACILITIES: Diving
and Snorkelling: The responsible staff from the Explore Dive Centre
at Vilu Reef will meet you once you arrive and settle down. It is
possible to take out an initial diving course or participate in
advanced courses.
Excursions: For all the trips and excursions of your choice during
your stay we have the necessary boats. Weather permitting, we shall
organise visits to fishing islands, picnics on deserts islands and
fishing excursions.
Watersports: For windsurfing, canoeing, catamarans please contact
the windsurf school.
Sports: Snorkelling, sailing, water ski, table tennis, volleyball,
badminton, billiards, and a gymnasium are at your disposal managed
directly by the resort, as are night fishing and trolling.
